SALT LAKE CITY, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- RxAmerica and the State of Arizona jointly announced today that the Arizona CoppeRx(SM) program has reached savings of over $10 million since the program began in January 2003. The program offers discounts on prescription drugs to qualified Arizona residents."This is a tremendous landmark in this program," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. "As the cost of prescription drug coverage continues to rise throughout the country, this program has helped keep the costs down for Arizonians who need it most."
The CoppeRx(SM) Card Prescription Discount Program offers significant discounts to both senior citizens and disabled residents covered by Medicare. These groups often struggle with the high costs of prescription drugs. The program is free for all eligible members, and participants are able to purchase prescription drugs at discounts ranging from 15 to 55 percent.
